About Shiloh Church

Shiloh Church is an expression of God’s faithfulness built upon a history that spans three centuries. It all began with revival meetings at Three Springs – a spot that later became the Village of Shiloh in the Illinois territory. That revival gave birth to what is now Shiloh Church in 1807. From tents to log buildings to our 1875 brick chapel, this church has been a bulwark for Christianity since the exploration days of Lewis and Clark.

Today, standing next and connected to our 1875 refurbished chapel is an expansive, modern addition completed in 2005. This addition includes a larger worship center and an educational wing. Our church has both contemporary and traditional worship services, children’s, youth and adult education classes, numerous mission and outreach ministries and serves the greater community as a preschool for children ages 2+. Shiloh Church anticipates and embraces future growth.

As it was in the early days when the American pioneers came  to draw near to God, Shiloh Church remains a Christ-centered church built upon a strong Wesleyan tradition. We are poised for a promising future as a place where people come to know and serve Jesus Christ.
